Outcome

UMKC’s Conservatory is home to exemplary Music, Dance, and Theatre programs, producing top-notch performing arts talent and contributing to the vibrant Kansas City arts culture. Prior to this project, their website wasn’t getting that across. 

I worked with a core group of leaders within the school to migrate a website of 100+ pages while creating a much more cohesive and useful platform to showcase this incredible community institution. 

Over the course of a few months, we: 

  • Streamlined the website’s structure and user journeys.

  • Simplified and improved messaging.

  • Clarified critical operational content and made it easier to find.

  • Integrated their program-related content with the university Program Finder tool to improve conversions.

  • Enhanced the school’s image.

  • Delivered a final product that satisfied school leadership and faculty.
